The Compliance Analyst supports Test and Measurement's Americas export compliance operations with maintenance, implementation, improvement, and reviews of various compliance matters, initially requiring some guidance and direction, with reduced levels of supervision as experience grows.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analyses the development and maintenance of various compliance matters, including: Day to day operations on order screening from both regulatory and technical perspective.
Collect EUS/EUC for highly controlled products based on applicable export control regulations (US/HU/MY) and manage documents.
Support export control related inquiries raised by sales, services department or customers and conduct communication with internal and external customers from both regulatory and technical perspective.
Review urgent export hold requests raised from sales operations, call out high risk orders to global export compliance team and follow up the order release process.
Support software and automation projects across T&M, as needed.
Support batch screening activities for departments, as needed.
Support regular EEI audits.
Coordinate the development, publishing and deliver Export Control training to internal customers.
Support annual indirect channel post shipment internal verification.
Collects and analyses data to review procedures and generates reports to address deficiencies in applicable programs; Works with support resources to ensure that all applicable systems are supervised and performing as expected, escalating issues where necessary; Performs various operational, clerical, and administrative support tasks as assigned; Ensures that applicable system implementations satisfy Emerson requirements for internal controls; Assists applicable teams on clarifications of policies; Organizes files and general work processes to improve the efficiency and productivity of Test and Measurement's Americas export compliance operations.
Advances strategic improvement opportunities and other tasks as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need: - years of relevant work experience in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing company in Compliance, Legal, or Customs roles.
Bachelor's Degree is Required.
(Preferred Major: electronic engineering, computer science, international trade or equivalent.)
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP applications; Excellent oral and written English language skills  Strong organizational skills, reliable and good attention to detail Strong attention to detail and strong interest in learning regulations.
Ability to detect gaps and implement the needed solutions.
Initiative to undertake additional responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: US EAR/ITAR knowledge or import/export related experience will be a plus.
