Commercial Support Associate

Huntsman's Advanced Materials Division is seeking a Commercial Support Associate supporting our GBS Site in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to Pricing & Back Office Team Lead.
The Commercial Support Associate supports the Customer, Customer Service Representative, Commercial and Supply Chain in the delivery of defined, high quality, transactional and business service associated with the complaint and return processes. Delivering to agreed performance and cost targets, on behalf of all relevant businesses and sites in an environment that encourages continuous improvement to the underlying global processes and outcomes.

In summary, as the Commercial Support Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the ADMAT Commercial organization with customer notifications/communications and keeping record in a centralized location
- Entering pricing records into Pricing database as directed by the Sales Representative on a daily basis; as well as year-end mass changes
- Managing EH&S inquires from internal and external customers by entering in designated database and following up until completion
- Fulfilling SDS & TDS requests
- Setting up new customers: liaising with customer directly to get documents needed for set up, create in master data, coordinating set up internally, and keeping record of progress by tracking in SharePoint
- Maintaining commercial master data as directed by Sales Manager(s)
- Providing phone coverage for any incoming external inquires and directing to appropriate ADMAT associate
- Projects as assigned by Team Leads or Sales Managers
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Logistics and Supply Chain, or Inside Sales roles.
- 4+ years of overall experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Microsoft Office
Experiences
- Language: English and Spanish - written and spoken proficiency, Portuguese is not required but will be an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge and ability with IT software, with experience in SAP preferred,
- Proactive and self-motivated approach, with excellent communications skills and an ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels in the business.
