As a Commercial Planning Supervisor, you will be part of Data & Solutions team of Philip Morris CARICAM and will play a key role ensuring effective planning, ensure forecasting process, reporting, capacity management, and deliver timely and accurate KPIs tracking to optimize performance and execution while provide actionable insights for stakeholders, relevant dashboards and ad-hoc analysis.
The role is critical in guaranteeing the timely execution of the omni-channel commercial strategy, enabling the channel teams to focus mainly on consumers or on commercial partners, and supporting Commercial Heads in making informed strategic and operational decisions.
Key accountabilities:
- Cascading OGSM based on the commercial strategies.
- Ensure strategic prioritization on quarterly Commercial Plans with key priorities & focus agreed.
- Creation of commercial calendar.
- Definition of Retro Planning for each commercial initiative.
- Commercial planning workload (per market) & tools support to ensure effective commercial calendar.
- Drives alignment and collaboration across function teams (Comm.
Plans, NPLs, LPE, Combos, tool box, FF KPIs)
- Co-creation of building blocks and alignment with stakeholders.
- Monitor focused and cost-effective utilization of the allocated resources to support Commercial activities.
- Conduct in depth analysis on business performance, national and regional commercial strategies including volume, share, price, profitability, field execution and business intelligence relating to these strategies.
Provide actionable insights from analysis conducted and effectively communicate those insights to Commercial Management to help drive current and future Commercial strategies.
- Liaise with Commercial stakeholders and provide actionable insights through detailed analysis of Commercial strategies and key business indicators including business activities linked to strategies, volume, profitability, business building, field execution and business intelligence.
- Ensure budget unification (volume and commercial investment), strategic reviews and management updates.
- Ensure all executed activities are fully compliant with Philip Morris policies & procedures.
Who we're looking for:
- University degree in Statistics, Business Information, Economics, Informatics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in key marketing and commercial competencies like Volume forecasting, Pricing and Commercial Planning
- Experience leading people or having direct reports
- Experience with common analytical processes such as digital analytics, market analytics, market research and sales reporting
- Detail oriented but able to see the big picture
- Ability to aggregate market qualitative feedback with quantitative insights and translate findings into actionable analysis and recommendations
- Scenario Analysis & Modelling, Stakeholder Engagement, Advanced Excel, Knowledge of Power BI, Business & Portfolio Acumen
- Articulate with the ability to translate data into a narrative for a broad audience.
