ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Tenders & Contracts CoE creates innovative and tailor-made market solutions, which drive commercial excellence and generate a competitive advantage in the contracting arena.
The Commercial Contracts Intelligence Manager is primarily supporting the US market.
The colleague will be leading analytical and human-in-the-loop models to maximize the accuracy of the predictions and turning those predictive insights into actionable and concrete commercial recommendations.
This role plays a critical role on finding incremental revenue opportunities, based on prescriptive recommendations and high-quality predictions.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for:
- Lead the human-in-the-loop models and processes to maximize the quality of the predictions.
- Validate and curate the data used by Machine Learning models to obtain predictions aligned with the performance metrics.
- Lead the execution of complex data exploratory analysis.
- Generate prescriptive recommendations to the demand manager/portfolio manager/analytics manager.
- Conduct sophisticated cost analysis to measure the financial impact of false positive/negative predictions.
- Monitor the execution of the business recommendations and track the business impact.
- Lead discussions with domain SMEs for gathering new data inputs that could lead to performance improvements.
- Manage project teams to test machine learning models frequently to ensure their adequate performance and accelerate its time-to market.
- Perform the role of product owner on the continued development of AI capabilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistic/industrial/software engineering or related field required
- At least 6 years of experience in related roles such business analytics, Supply chain or machine learning.
- Proven ability in using predictive modeling and explanatory modeling to identify trends.
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics, cleaning, and preparation, visualizations.
- Demonstrated experience in taking detailed analytics / information to synthesize simple business recommendations.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written (at least C1 is required)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Supply Chain, Pricing, or Pharma
- Hands on experience on the development of Machine Learning models
- Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g.
SAP IBP)
- Tableau knowledge
- Scrum/ SAFe knowledge
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to analyze, understand and cross-reference large, diverse data sets from various business areas (e.g., commercial, finance, manufacturing) and external sources.
- Proven ability to use and implement advanced technology and mathematical models at the service of the business.
