Join Western Union as a Collector.Western Union powers your pursuit.Role ResponsibilitiesWe'll be looking to you to contact customers to determine reason for payment and obtain payment commitment by placing outbound calls which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, and procedures.Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.May answer inquiries and resolve problems.Requires general knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services and also requires ability to navigate computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.Performs one or more of the following operational support Accounts Receivable reviews/investigations, negotiation of receivable settlements, remittance tracking, database maintenance, documentation control, with the highest volume agents or special subscribers.Work with Supervisor to ensure all assigned agent accounts are reconciled in order to have a solid starting point for recovering funds, work with Sales to coordinate the best attention to the agents.Performs various administrative functions including standard management reporting requirements and continue to maintain agents reconciled to achieve collection effort goals.Analyze risk of collection cases and different scenarios, to mitigate loses.Role Requirements2 Year college degree in business administration preferred or equivalent experience.2-3 years' experience in consumer and/or commercial collections.English required, (76% B2+ - minimum).Knowledge in excel (certification is a plus).Detail oriented, excellent organizational and operational skills, ability to identify key issues and multi-task under tight deadlines.
