**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Cloud Application Junior Developer brief description:
The Cloud Developer will be a key member of our project software development teams with responsibility across analysis, design, development, test and deployment phases of the software development lifecycle targeting the different Cloud platforms.
Our Cloud Engineering team supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud.
We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and software products, tools, and accelerators.
In partnership with other leaders in the organization, you will focus on delivering world class innovative solutions that leverage the latest cloud native technologies and building a team of top-notch cloud architects and software engineers.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
As a Cloud Application Junior Developer, you must have:
- Deep knowledge developing for Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Tanzu, AKS, Fargate, EKS, ECS, etc.).
- 2+ years' experience and deep expertise in the Software Development Lifecycle as applied to cloud service deployments including cross cutting concerns such as exception handling, logging, and monitoring, DB PaaS, access & identity implementation.
- Expert knowledge of agile development practices and associated disciplines such as CI/CD, Git, Kanban, Jenkins, Pupet, etc.
- Cloud Fundamentals certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Cloud Developer Certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
Nice to have:
- Developer Certifications (Associate, Expert) (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
- Development skills and associated services & languages - Python, R, Scala.
- CI/CD certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
- Working knowledge of data modeling, analytics, data mining and machine learning and other cloud services and technologies.
- Web development skills - JavaScript, Angular, React JS, MVC, etc.
**Required Education**
High School Diploma/GED
**Preferred Education**
Bachelor's Degree
