Finance Data initiative is part of the global Finance Transformation Office at Citibank. Citi is looking to build smarter and more efficient ways to operate their business, through new opportunities uncovered by finance data. Citi is looking for experts to provide insights on how to ingest, interpret, and manage data. Citi is looking for someone who specializes in data management with working knowledge in process and technology related to **CO Remediation/ DOM **function.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive Cross-Finance working groups for Front-to-Back Data Operating Model Execution.
- Provide guidance on high-priority and cross-functional portfolio use cases based on current issues, challenges, and/or priorities.
- Define scope of the particular use case based on relevant processes and reports.
- Lead teams to consolidate data issues and requirements and publish Cross-Finance risk reduction metrics.
- Collaborate with Finance functional leads on top issue identification and prioritization, root cause analysis.
- Define data set requirements (e.g. granularity, frequency, data quality rules, lineage, SLAs, reconciliation, cross-report validation, certification, attestation and change management)
- Working closely with Finance functional leads, support identification of data elements including critical data elements and associated data quality rules for each.
- Collaborate with Finance functional leads to prioritize data-related requirements and issues on behalf of finance functional areas (Books & Records, Planning, Reporting and Treasury).
- Lead teams in developing user stories/business requirement documents related to data requirements.
- Align with enterprise Chief Data Office, as needed, for any guidance on data policies, framework, and methodology.
- Coordinate with Finance technology organization, as needed, for any design and build related to finance data initiatives.
- Present analytical solutions to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Lead and manage teams through a product life cycle - requirements, design, development, and testing.

**Qualification**
- Financial service background to lead large cross-functional initiatives.
- Understanding of data governance, data management, and data capabilities needed for a robust data program in support of business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, acting as a visionary on data management.
- Knowledgeable in Financial platforms, architecture, and technology in banking.
- Experience in finance data requirements, data quality rules, data issues and financial platform implementations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in absence of detailed instructions.
- Ability to influence senior Business, Finance, Technology and Operations stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, and global teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both upwards and downwards, across organizational levels.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and understanding of controller functions is preferred.
- Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented with great interpersonal skills.
- Process reengineering and change management with program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor, and report on concurrent, multiple projects.
- Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment, resolve problems, and offer impacting solutions.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced finance environment, and lead and drive complex operational initiatives across multiple geographies with diverse resources.

**Education**

A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, and/or analytics)
