**About the Role**

Uber is redefining the future of grocery & retail, building the world's best and biggest marketplace for on-demand delivery of all local commerce. A key part of this is providing a magical experience to our customers through the product catalog.

As Catalog Ops Project Manager you will work with peers, leaders and partners across Catalog Ops, Catalog Product, Engineering, Partner Engineering, Sales, Strategy, Operations and Merchants to manage and improve catalog quality and performance through projects and routine processes.

You will also work side by side with the region's leadership team, supporting helping the business to grow working both operationally and strategically.

We need you if you are hands-on and an easy multi-tasker that's passionate about optimizing our operational metrics regarding: item availability, content, search and pricing. You love solving problems and are driven to offer the best possible catalog experience. Being able to switch between pressing immediate issues, long term solutions and continuous every day improvements is key for success in this role.

**What you'll do**
- Supervise catalog critical metrics, detect root causes of issues that affect them and propose solutions.
- Attend meetings and coordinate with project collaborators, including external partners.
- Act as catalog point of contact for Merchants.
- Act as owner of Merchant Catalog onboarding, being responsible for catalog quality.
- Run simple to medium analysis to understand the current state of problems and to validate a plan of action.
- Lead, handle and implement projects related to catalog within cross functional teams. e.g.
- Identify potential areas of improvement and propose a plan for improvement.
- Coordinate with other internal areas.
- Collaborate with merchant teams (both commercial and technical).
- Implement process improvements.
- Train team members in new processes.
- Supervise project progress.
- Track and document results.
- Find third party providers.

**What you'll need**
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience driving scaled operations, strategy, or project/program management.
- Prior experience working with catalogs at an e-commerce or technology company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the local language and in English, to clearly communicate and drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem solving mentality; ability to identify problems, determine the accurate analysis to assess them and come up with solutions.
- Leadership skills; involve everyone needed to implement action plans. Collaboration is key.
- Interpersonal skills; be able to divide projects into small chronological tasks making sure to follow up and follow through.
- Be data driven and committed.
- Multitasking; leading more than one project at the same time.
- Good business and analytical logic; have the hability to foresee the impact of projects in different areas of the company.
- Understanding the context and impact of a project and set priorities.
- Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to operate autonomously.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint mainly).
- Advanced SQL skills.
- English proficiency is key!
