What You Will Achieve
You will be part of Pfizer's finance market operations team and have responsibilities at the corporate, division and local levels. Your accounting skills will help in the analysis of financial information and preparing financial reports. You will maintain and oversee the accounts and financial records of the company. You will verify this data for accuracy and prepare reports and reviews base on it. You will be responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
As a Senior Accountant, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will make it easy to manage difficult issues and help in establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It
- Accuracy of Financial Statements for USGAAP and Local Purposes
- Compliance with Statutory regulations and USGAAP principles.
- Ensure that month-end close activities are on track to produce complete, accurate and timely financials.
- Close collaboration with SAR CoE team regarding local audit plans and accountable for stablishing actions plans as needed.
- Become a trusted partner for the Commercial organization by taking thoughtful decisions that will help us to deliver breakthroughs to our patients
- Lead, coordinate and support the implementation of projects for the region, ensuring the compliance with local regulations (e.g. e-invoicing, new building facilities, SAP enhancements).
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Background in Finance or Accounting, Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- At least 5 years of working experience in general accounting.
- Business English language skills (written and verbal)
- Strong Knowledge of US GAAP and Local (Fiscal) accounting
- Have a strong work ethic and high integrity, excellent judgment, and the ability to work with information of a confidential and sensitive nature.
- Strong business acumen and professionalism with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and operations colleagues in all applicable Pfizer Finance and business functional areas.
Nice-to-Have
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Knowledge of accounting and financial systems/processes, controls, and ability to translate strategies into financial concepts.
- Passion for new ideas and a sustained focus on continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
