**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform the processes associated with:
- Receiving, channeling and processing of procurement requests from internal users.
- Obtaining quotations for requests below country threshold that does not require competitive bidding exercise.
- Performing purchasing activities for: one time buys, unplanned/reactive, "bid/quote and buy" methodology, low expenditure/complexity, unique purchase requirements, emergency time sensitive and where sourcing is not done as part of the strategic process.
- Managing approval of POs
- Monitoring receipt of goods and services when applicable.
- Resolving invoice / PO match holds, interacting with business and Accounts Payable
- Managing catalogue content
- Ensuring payment of prompt pay discounts
- Guarantee orders' arrival to supplier
- Report savings where applicable.
- Provide policy and procurement process guidance to users.
- Support users and respond to inquiries.
- Manage escalation and rush requests.
- Process and publish reports when required.
**Requirements**:
- University Graduate or ongoing studies
- 2 years of experience in customer service or procurement environment
- High level of English (writing, speaking and reading).
- Good personal communications skills.
- Ability to easily and clearly communicate with others.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good level of numeracy skills, financial/accounting skills is a plus.
- Adaptability.
- Attention to Detail.
- Strong administrative and analytical skills.
- Team working Skills.
- Good prioritization skills and time management.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
Proficient in Excel (medium).
**Desirable**
- Portuguese intermediate.
- Operational experience in a shared services environment is an advantage
