**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for gourmet food products, ensuring quality, variety, and competitive prices.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Collaborate closely with store managers and yacht provisioning managers to understand and anticipate their product needs.
- Implement just-in-time purchasing policies to minimize inventory while ensuring uninterrupted supply.
- Supervise and optimize logistics and supply chain processes to ensure timely product delivery.
- Continuously research and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and sustainability standards.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new potential vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Manager or in a similar role, ideally within the gourmet food industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Advanced English Level B2+
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost optimization.
- Deep knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
