- 3+ year(s) of experience in Customer Service and/or Back-Office corporate environments.
- Knowledge in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations

- B2 English proficiency or higher.

This is a non-virtual, full-time, permanent position based in Costa Rica and does not offer relocation benefits. Job applicants must be located and legally authorized to work in Costa Rica in order to be eligible for consideration.

Amazon is hiring a Vendor Management Analyst to be based in our corporate offices in SJO. As member of our Global Procurement Shared Services (GPSS) team, you will support the Latam and NA procurement and business teams by delivering operational tasks and assignments.

**MAIN SCOPE**:
To provide functional support to the Procurement Operations network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes supplier master data management, supplier compliance review and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

**REPORTING TO**: GPSS NA & LATAM Manager

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:

- Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. PR/PO, ticket resolving...)
- Achieving assigned project targets / objectives

Key job responsibilities
- Process daily remedy tickets and web requisitions
- Point of contact for some internal and external stakeholders (vendors/manufacturers)
- Set up and maintain supplier master data for procurement network
- Work in full compliance with the company's Spending and Transaction policy
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct and verify Sustainability, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility compliance for suppliers.
- Manage escalations related to supplier compliance issues.
- Create and analyze regular supplier compliance reports to identify improvement areas
- Conduct and verify Supply Chain Standards acknowledgment checks for suppliers.
- Manage escalations related to acknowledgment issues
- Produce and analyze regular acknowledgment reports, identifying improvement areas
- Collaborate with vendor managers to align on acknowledgment processes with compliance goals

Prior applying, please consider the following information about the role:

- This is not a virtual position. If selected for this role, you will be required to work from our SJO11 building, located in Centro Corporativo El Tobogán, Calle Blancos, San José in a hybrid-model, attending three days to the office and two days from home.
- Our training schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for a total duration of four weeks.

A day in the life
Vendor Management Analysts review incoming Vendor Onboarding requests to ensure suppliers are compliant to Amazon's Sustainability and Safety policies. They engage with internal stakeholders for support, and follow up with suppliers on critical tasks to finalize onboardings successfully. They partner with other team members across the organization to work on projects aiming to improve process. They perform analysis on set of suppliers to validate their compliance and look for remediation, and they engage in support of broad initiatives, aiming to improve the supplier base.

- University Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering.
- Work experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Shared Service centers.
- B1 Portuguese proficiency.
- High precision in verbal and written communication
- Previous experience in shared service centers is advantageous.
- Data analysis experience will be valued.
- Self-motivated person
- Ability to resolve day-to-day problems and focus on delivering results.
- Ability to make effective escalation decision.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good judgment and instincts.
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment, good time management.
- Formal business administration or procurement qualification required Bachelor degree preferred.
- Previous experience in supplier management is advantageous.
