**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support business continuity for different functional departments while supporting continuous improvement.
- Seasonally execute tasks of other operational areas such as Purchasing and logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Data Entry to achieve their deliverables while increasing efficiency and productivity.
- Identify improvement actions by analyzing problems using different continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Create processes mapping and develop procedures.
- Develop tools such as SharePoint pages, Power Bi Dashboards, Power apps, in support of continuous improvement ideas' execution.
- Monitor continuous improvement projects
- Assess continuous improvement ideas received by Emerson employees
- Monitor progress of ongoing continuous improvement projects
- Gather and properly maintain documentation of continuous improvement projects and results obtained.
- Audit the efficiency and monitor metrics of implemented improvement ideas.
- Support Operational Excellence Culture development
- Maintain different metrics and reports
- Conduct basic and/or intermediate training on different continuous improvement and operational excellence concepts, tools, and methodologies.
**Qualifications**
- Last year or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Finance.
- From 6 months to one year in any of this fields are a plus:
- Purchasing and logistics
- Planning
- Customer Service
- Data Entry
- Knowledge in continuous improvement tools: streamlining processes, waste walks, kaizen events, Ishikawa diagrams, impact-effort charts, 5 whys, PCDA and DMAIC methodologies.
- Passion for operational excellence with a commitment to delighting customer
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively, orally & in writing, with all levels of management.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
(Power apps, Power BI and SharePoint will be a plus).
- English Proficiency (B1) Required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Yellow / Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, Scrum or Agile certification are a plus.
