**What you will do**:
The Innovative business process owner will optimize the finance business processes for the LATAM Region. Responsible for documenting the current processes, recommending improvements, and evaluating the efficiency of changes made to the accounts payable and accounts receivable business processes.

This role will work with the local accounting teams, the shared services organization, the global processes team, and the IT/ PMO teams to ensure best-in-class end-to-end processes and controls.

The individual in this role needs to have strong collaboration, teamwork, influencing, and communication skills. The BPO needs to be an outstanding leader and project manager to ensure proper execution and coordination of work.
- Mapping and documenting existing accounting (record-to-report) processes.
- Evaluating business processes and determining and outlining process improvements,
respectively.
- Overseeing all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives.
- Analyzing and monitoring implemented changes to business processes and adjusting as needed.
- Performing ongoing analyses on business processes related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management.
- Presenting progress reports and integrating feedback.
- Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and Stryker customers.
- Working with Internal and external audit teams to review and enforce policies.
- Complying with Corporate accounting policies, US, and local GAAP.
- Performing other related work as assigned by management.

**What you need**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, or Business-Related Field
- 6+ years' experience in Accounting, or Finance
- Proficiency with Excel, data skills (must have)
- Fluency in English (must have)
- SAP, Oracle or QAD systems knowledge is a big plus.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
- Versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, an excellent communicator and collaborator
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
