Provide technical support to Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality and Business Excellence teams in the design and development of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to continuously improve business processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support routine daily assembly operations by measuring and verifying productivity, and resolving routine productivity metrics issues in collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., Mfg Ops, Engr, Quality, Business Excellence)
- Perform routine standard work operations and cycle time assessments, to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Actively participate and support Gemba walks, Lean assessments, Kaizen events, 6S assessments, improvement initiatives from IDEAS program, line balancing exercises, work content definition, Lean Deployment Plan initiatives and TOPP implementations.
- Execute routine experiments and tests (following protocols) to develop processes/methods improvements, based on Lean Six Sigma principles; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports for review.
- May participate in projects related to waste reduction, problem solving and root cause analysis, testing, and mistake proofing.
- Utilize manufacturing software (e.g., JDE, Click View, MES, Lean Kit, etc) to update documentation in systems.

**Education and Experience**:
H.S.
Diploma or equivalent Required
Previous related experience Preferred
**Additional Skills**:
- Good problem solving methodology, root cause analysis, and GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
- Good written and verbal communication (English and Spanish), interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Good computer skills including usage of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge Knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices supporting a medical device environment
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
- Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
