Business Analyst, Payment Risk Mining Analytics

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

How would you build systems that evolve over time to proactively identify and neutralize new and emerging fraud threats?

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing support to Payment Risk ML team. This includes using analytical and business skills to perform model evaluation related deep dives, educating partners on model actions, and monitoring alarms.

- Provide time sensitive analytics to partner teams
- Identify root cause and work with partners such as ML teams to develop sustainable solutions
- Automate tasks using dashboards

Payment Risk Mining Analytics' mission is to combine the latest data science techniques with investigator insights to detect and prevent bad debt and negative customer experiences across Amazon.

San Jose, CRI
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Proven experience in working with large scale databases and SQL in a business environment
