**The Business Analyst **will support the Compliance Assurance Monitoring team to conduct ongoing evaluation of compliance performance to measure the effectiveness of controls, identify anomalies or deviations from thresholds, and communicate trends to the Compliance Monitoring Leader. Additionally, this role will support the development of compliance monitoring metrics and associated reporting with data engineers and business stakeholders.
**What you'll do**:
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of risk and compliance indicator performance, through the use of business intelligence tools, to measure the effectiveness of controls and identify deviations from thresholds
- Summarize analysis and insights from business intelligence output into monthly reporting for leadership
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design compliance metrics and develop reporting of compliance metrics to generate real-time insights
- Support the development of monitoring standards and reporting documentation associated with monitoring activities
- Understand processes, controls, and technical requirements in order to design measurement plans to support the monitoring pipeline expansion
**What experience you need**:
- Bachelor's degree in analytical field preferred, e.g. Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Industrial.
- 2+ years of experience as an analyst in a process-driven or technical environment
- 1+ years of experience with data modeling, query languages (e.g. SQL), and relational database platforms (e.g. Big Query).
- 1+ years of experience with data reporting and data visualization software
- English Proficiency (B2+ - C1 level)
**What could set you apart**:
- Experience working in enterprise risk and/or compliance fields
- Knowledge and understanding of process improvement and/or change management methodologies.
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms
- Ability to travel up to 10% (post-covid).
