As a Business Analyst for Contract Pricing and Accuracy, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
This role would support the Contract Pricing and Accuracy team in the rollout of systems and methodologies that align with long-term corporate transformation objectives and goals.
You will collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, analyze processes, and propose effective solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
Your ability to understand both business operations and technical aspects will be key to your success.
You will operate as a highly skilled individual contributor with some oversight on specific products/systems or subject matter areas, while maintaining awareness of the broader systems and solutions.
You will be a subject matter expert and support the user experience with Sysco's contract management tool and contract creation and amendment process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users, project managers, and technical teams to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements as needed.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business processes and pain points.
Analyze existing workflows, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement.
Document current-state and/or future-state processes using process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams.
Data Analysis and Solution Design: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to design solutions that align with business goals.
Define test scenarios and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure that delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including requirements, process flows, user manuals and training guides.
Stakeholder Communication and Change Management: Facilitate communication between business users, business technology, and other relevant teams.
Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders.
Assist in change management efforts related to process improvements or system implementations.
Train end-users on new processes and tools.
Contract Administration Input contracts and amendments in the Contract Management tool and follow up through completion.
Configure and maintain the Contract Management tool association tables, user groups, approval flows, etc., ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Help ensure accurate metadata is captured in a timely manner.
Act as the first point of contact for users with questions or issues related to the tool.
Provide timely and effective support.
Train new users on the Contract Management system.
Create and maintain user guides, and conduct workshops as needed.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into contract status, compliance, and performance.
Requirements 3+ years of working experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with emphasis on areas such as contract management, pricing execution, and metrics management. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, DocuSign, Icertis).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, Intermediate to Advanced Excel Level, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with all levels of the organization up to and including senior management.
Strong problem management and solving skills.
Accountable to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Green Belt, Scrum, Agile experience or certifications will be a plus.
