The Customer Billing team is responsible to deliver a high-quality invoicing service to MIS customers and provide key business partners with the data needed to develop successful strategies.
The function has direct impacts on the organization's financial results, including revenue recognition, regulatory/ financial reporting.
The Associate is expected to support the Customer Billing Mission Statement.
This role will need to acquire Subject matter expertise with a thorough understanding of complex business concepts, products, and business rules (e.g., fee agreements, pricing requirements).
Under the supervision of the Customer Billing Leadership, the Associate is expected to support BAU activities as well as contributing to process improvements and ad-hoc tasks.
The role is primarily focused on supporting the global team on processing of invoicing and accrual activities while also maintaining our secure control environment.
The role works closely across departments in the Finance, Commercial and GMO Organizations.
- Monitor the delivery of invoices in a timely and accurate manner whilst meeting revenue SOX control requirements.
- Partner with our internal customers (i.e., Commercial and Finance Organization), in supporting the delivery of high-quality invoicing service to our external MIS customers.
- Ensure key/compensating control functions are executed accurately and timely.
- Support the team's goals and communicate progress regularly.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business discipline.
- 1+ years' experience performing in an Accounting, Auditing or Billing environment required..
