Role/Responsibilities
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for assisting with the administration of the organization's benefit plans, specifically in the region of Latin America.
The position involves a strong working knowledge of employee benefits, policies, and procedures and the ability to review complex analytics to resolve employee and vendor issues.
This position engages with third party vendors, payroll and legal.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as other benefits systems used by the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer various employee benefit programs, such as Health & Welfare, Defined benefit and Defined contribution plans.
- Resolve employee benefit issues
- Assist in reviewing the company's benefit plans, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance with government regulations.
- Maintain and update benefit plan documents and summary plan descriptions on Company intranet.
- Ensure accuracy of vendor databases utilizing problem solving skills in review of benefit file feeds.
- Work closely with senior benefits team on various projects to include implementation and redesign of plans, development of employee communication material and annual benefit enrollment.
- Conduct new hire employee orientation.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, human resources, or related field.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in employee benefits or benefits consulting.
- Possess excellent analytical capabilities with deep experience in analyzing employee and third party vendor systems data.
- Practical knowledge working on issues and problems in a human resources or consulting environment.
- Familiar with a variety of HR concepts such as leave administration practices and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
