3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
The AWS Accounts Receivable (AR) team is seeking a self-driven Financial Analyst with a strong owner's mindset, relentless customer advocacy and frontline obsession to be the Global Order-to-Cash (O2C) analyst for the AWS Marketplace customer channel. The AWS Marketplace is an online store that helps customers find, buy and immediately start using software and services that run on the AWS Cloud.
The AWS Marketplace channel is a rapidly growing and critical channel with accounts under management exceeding $1 billion (AR). We anticipate continued and significant growth with the opportunity to work with business leaders and technical teams to further influence AWS Marketplace cash flow. The Financial Analyst will dive deep into data to drive process improvements, standardize processes and eliminate root-cause defects within existing systems. The position will build financial and operational reports and may own financial reports that influence decision-making by formulating and executing financial analysis and share valuable insights into findings, with your manager and business leaders. This role combines operations, program management and technical knowledge to build programs and processes that scale. They will drive operational improvements to add value, eliminate waste and improve the customer experience.
