Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppress large wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence.Aviation Mechanic**Location**: Liberia, Costa Rica**Job Purpose**: This Aviation Mechanic role provides maintenance on all aircraft and equipment at Dynamic Aviation's PSE (Panama Screwworm Eradication) base located at Daniel Oduber Quirops International Airport, Liberia, Costa Rica.**Duties**:- Follow directions and remain on task- Communicate with the customer and pilots about aircraft issues- Disassemble and clean aircraft components/parts- Organize and maintain shop floor/environment from clutter or debris- Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance- Inspect aircraft and systems- Read and understand maintenance manuals and understand requirements- Troubleshoot and repair systems- Complete required paperwork to comply with Company procedures- Other duties as assigned**Skills/Qualifications**:- High school education required- Aviation mechanic's license preferred- Experience with PT6 engines, specifically King Air 90 preferred- Prior mechanical experience- Technical aptitude- Must provide own tools (tools listing to be provided)- Ability to:- Crawl in and out of tight spaces- Comfortably work at elevated heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods of time- Lift, balance and carry 50 lbs.- Work in exterior weather conditions- Work in close proximity to other people**Job Experience**: Experience working with hands, repairing machines, troubleshooting, maintaining, and inspecting all aircraft systems including electrical, sheet metal, general airframe and power plant.It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
