**Role** **:Automation / Security Consultant**
**Location : San José, Costa Rica**
**Responsibilities**:
- Help clients address the massive shifts taking place in the competitive global technical landscape of (Arch, Solution, Platform) and deliver on desired Business Outcomes
- Develop pursuit strategies and support new business opportunities, which include defining/qualifying sales opportunities, capturing engagement scope and cost projections, formulating potential solutions based on client requirements
- Fully understand the Customer business need and how a Cisco solution can address this for the Customer
- Discuss and document business and technical requirements of customers, expanding the solution to multi-architecture and cross-domain plays that create outcomes instead of deploying technology
- Develop and present services solution proposal and strategy, aligned to the products and transformation being planned, to sales and customers
- Shape services engagements by developing mature statements of work, and engaging customers to identify business and technical requirements
- Identify information gaps (customer and project details) to prepare estimates and use creative ways to fill them / make assumptions in the pre-sales process
- Produce compelling proposals with associated Service Design, levels of effort, assumptions, quotes and contracting documentation and track them through the deal closure processes
- Assess delivery and commercial risks of proposed solutions and ensure they are mitigated during the solution design and contracting
- Lead prioritization for SOW (Statement of Work) development of deals to be delivered by Partners / Third Parties
- Facilitate smooth transition to Delivery teams once deals achieve booking stage
- Collaborate with the CXPM (CX Product Management) to Incubate new CX (Arch, Solution, Platform) offers and strategies.
- Report on successes and challenges of the business for (Theater, Arch, Solution, Platform) and capture best practices and success stories to scale the business
- Drive Cisco's (Arch, Solution, Platform) Portfolio growth
- Help build Cisco's CX BDM Community by sharing wins, lessons learned, best practices and participating in the CX BDM Role Community
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's in engineering or science, MBA/Masters is a plus
- **Option 1: 2-3/Option2 : 5-6 Years**of Professional Experience in the IT Industry
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: business development, project management, service delivery, services selling Sales Support Experience is a plus
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience, CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) a plus
- Good knowledge across a broad range of technology solutions related to Cloud, IoT, Collaboration, Networking, Data Center and Security
- Broad knowledge of Cisco's architectures and Solutions
**Automation Specific**
- Experience in designing solutions that rely on Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform, Python, or other open-source solutions on the market is a Plus.
- Experience with NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and SDN (Software Defined Networking) Networks, Cisco NSO (Network Service Orchestrator), CrossWork, Intersight, DNA Center automation.
- Experience with Cloud Native, Testing and Assurance automation is a Plus.
- Experience with Cisco SP (Service Providers) Automation framework and solutions is a Plus.
- Understanding of key software automation concepts and typical use cases and selling methods to SPs (Service Providers) and Enterprises.
**Security Specific**
- Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Familiarity and experienced with multiple cloud migration & automation technologies such as: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Cisco Cloud Security Solutions.
- CCNP, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or equivalent Security Industry Certification and experience, CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) a plus
