The Automation Developer I position requires an understanding of Automation technologies such as: RPA, AI, ML, NLP, APIs, Git, Low Code/No Code to leverage these to improve business processes.
This position will be focused, but not limited to, developing, and maintaining solutions using Scripting languages, Desktop Automation and Robotic Process Automation and other continuous improvement activities in a customer centric way.
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow coding best practices according to WFS standards.
- Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and collaborate with QAs to develop testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.
- Embrace new ways of working with fast iterations, lean documentation and planning, close alignment with business and IT and close communication across global teams.
- Assist Product Owners by scoping the proposed solution leading to accurate cost and time estimates.
- Collaborate in an agile and cross-functional team with other Squads to blend various fields and technologies to translate business requirements into User Stories that can be implemented by the Development team.
- Provide technical support and guidance to peers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Communicate ideas for team continuous improvement and willingly receives feedback for self-improvement.
- Stay up to date on relevant technology trends and opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Experience using one or more of the following tools: UiPath, Power Platform, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Open Bots, etc. UiPath experience is highly preferred.
- Acquaintance with following concepts: RPA, AI, ML, NLP, APIs, Git, Low code/No code.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience in Automation.
- At least 1 o 2 years of hands-on IT/computing experience.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages VB,.NET, C#.
- Experience using ticketing management systems such as JIRA or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+).
