- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and priorities.
- Create and manage build-and-deploy workflow processes related to product development and testing.
- Actively participate in high-level team activities, such as: suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements, and conducting tool evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful delivery and implementation of assigned tasks, and liaise with next-level management.
- Assume responsibility for extending and maintaining scripts to automate the build-and-deployment processes in the Engineering development cycle.
- Liaise between the Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams to assure environment provisioning consistent through the development and production cycle.
- Domestic and international travel may be required on an infrequent basis. Destination and frequency impossible to predict. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position.).
**Minimum Education and Experience Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field,
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a related position which requires:
- Analysis of complex technical issues.
- Ability to systematically analyze problems and/or inefficient processes with mínimal guidance
- Willingness to challenge the status quo
**Minimum Technical Requirements (must have experience with the following)**:
- Agile or Kanban Development Methodology;
- Creation and usage of APIs;
- Deploying and managing production environments in Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure;
- Performing scripting and automation using Shell, Groovy, Python, PowerShell;
- Working with PostGres Database technologies and PSQL (or other RDMS);
