Individual contributor responsible for providing mainly office-based sales support for the Relationship Management and Business Development Teams. The associate will work to support team members to manage relationships while growing mandates and revenue in their assigned territory(ies), region(s) and/or line of business. Individuals must exercise independent judgment to support customer relationships under little direct supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Scope:
- Independently respond to customer queries ensuring an excellent level of customer-centric service is provided.
- Responsible for maintenance, accuracy and completeness of data entered in Sales Force, or other internal databases in relation to customer details, pricing, and fees.
- Will support on answering simple customer queries.
- Support the senior members of the team in supervising transactions and relationship needs.
- Assist senior members with information gathering/news monitoring, for example collect data and documents for Request For Proposals/Tender responses, gather information on market development and trends including coverage information and information used in identifying targets and cross selling opportunities.
- Provide administrative support on projects, regulatory tasks, Marketing Campaigns etc. as advised.
- May have occasional direct customer interaction including teleconference including coordinating and participating in customer meetings under mentorship of a senior relationship management team member.
- Will work closely with key internal collaborators including but not limited to legal, billing/collections team, sales ops, compliance etc. to address management and customer needs, such as resolving invoice issues.
- Source and collate information in preparation for customer meetings which may include credit research as advised by the Relationship Manager.
- Generate documentation such as fee brochures and pricing letters to support pricing approvals and exceptions as it relates to the annual fee negotiation process.
**What you bring**:
- Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent) preferably in business administration, finance and or international relations.
- 1-2 years of significant work experience in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrate proven understanding of Capital Markets and consistently and optimally applies knowledge to their existing role.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work optimally and supply to a large team with multifaceted strengths.
- Ability to prioritize and to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to be proactive and exercise initiative.
- Strong experience in using MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with CRM platforms, including Salesforce is a plus.
