You will be responsible for supporting PSO Projects and Programs, with various complexity, from initiation to close out, by performing supporting tasks as required.
You will work closely with the Project/Program team to deliver these projects to mutually agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with various stakeholders, clients, and other team members on the day-to-day tasks to manage the full life cycle of projects or programs.
**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

A first-year TSE will undergo a substantial skills development training program focused on learning our core products, tools & processes.
After an 8-week onboarding program that includes technical and soft-skills training, you will shadow and collaborate with fellow TSEs to learn the skills and habits necessary to deliver unparalleled customer experiences.
Within 12 weeks, you will begin engaging directly with VMware customers and partnering with them to resolve issues.
Within your first 30 days of employment, you will become competent with VMware's tools, culture, guidelines, and standard operations.
You will work closely with other APMs for training, coaching, system access and processes.
After your first 30 days, you will be able to perform the required project administration tasks and needed to allow the successful delivery and reporting of VMware Projects and Programs.
Prepare and maintain clear and concise activity/progress/time recording reports in accordance with VMware's standards and submits to customers, management and Sales.
To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter and resourceful learner, possess strong customer interaction and problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize multiple requests and work assignments.

Our APMs are trusted advisors and experts that VMware Projects/Program Manager seek out when they have a question or issue with administrative tasks.
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Perform the required project administration tasks and needed to allow the successful delivery and reporting of VMware Projects and Programs.
- Prepare and maintain clear and concise activity/progress/time recording reports in accordance with VMware's standards and submits to customers, management, and Sales.
- Be a part of project and programs meetings and take on tasks as required for successful delivery and communication on status and progress.
- Submit subcontractor Work Orders and track progress on Purchase Order submission for staffing of PS projects and programs.
- Communicate project budget and resource allocation to sales, customers, and delivery personnel.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer and account team.
- Communicate to stakeholders and concerned parties any existing or potential customer escalation issues
- Create and manage the VMware Project Change process as needed.
- Stay informed of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, continued professional development, VMware required quarterly training, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
- Maintain financial management and the processes for following and executing of revenue recognition rules and policies.
- Manage, provide data and inputs on weekly revenue forecast.
