This position is open to work in Heredia, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.- **Key Responsiblities**- Help the Credit Standards team to improve and develop quantitative credit rating models and methodologies used by Moody's Local credit rating analysts to assign ratings.- Support the Credit Standards team to prepare materials for portfolio and methodologies reviews, analyzing data, preparing charts, updating or running financial models, or gathering other analytical information.- Assist in analytical projects to improve consistency and quality of Moody's Local credit analysis and rating methodologies.- Help to manage commitments and deliverables of the working group.- Develop a deep knowledge of Moody's Local methodologies to support Moody's Local analytical teams and the Credit Standards team.- Develop a deep understanding of complex financial models and analytical databases, as aplicable to each rating group.LI-HybridLI-RA**Qualifications**:**Education Requirements****- CFA certification or preparation will be considered a plus**Languages**:- Strong communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written in writing in Spanish and English.- Portuguese is a plus.**Skills and Experience**:- One or more years of experience with credit/risk assessment experience gained from a rating agency, financial institutions, asset management, regulator or public accounting firm, or proven equivalent.- Structured Finance knowledge will be considered a plus.- Experience handling databases, time series and panel data econometrics.- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Python (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib) is a must.- Knowledge of R, Matlab, SQL, Power BI, and VBA is not required, but is considered an asset.- Proven strong quantitative and analytical skills.- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines.- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships.Moody's is an equal opportunity employer.
