The Associate (Bond) Market Analyst (the analyst) in Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Operations is responsible for fixed income and derivative evaluation support and customer service.
Refinitiv provides evaluated pricing on over 2.7 million fixed income instruments and derivatives per day which are used by asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks, and third-party vendors.
Day to day responsibilities include pricing production activities and query case management.
Pricing production involves the creation and maintenance of money market and credit default swap curves (CDS), client file creation, mortgage-backed benchmark pricing, and new issuance research.
The analyst will also research all queries submitted by customers including coverage and quality requests.
The analyst will have prior experience in finance and customer service.
Strong passion for capital markets and understanding of bond mathematics are key for the role.
**Responsibilities**:
Judgmental
- Assess and validate market color
- Provide and follow through on process improvement or automaton ideas
Pricing Production
- Maintain money market yield curves
- Update evaluated CDS levels
- Update real time mortgage-backed pricing model
- Research terms and conditions on newly issued municipal bonds
- Prepare custom files for client delivery
- Meet the deadlines of the production schedule
- Comply with our controls and procedures
Customer Service
- Handle pre-sales requests relating to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and Municipal fixed income securities
- Query case management of individual client price challenges and coverage requests
- Customer service research projects and reports
- Manage internal and external client expectations
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or in the final stage of a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial sciences, or engineering
- Excellent communication, writing, and training skills
- Customer service or programming (VBA, Python, SQL, etc.)
