**What you will do**
The Associate Manager, GQO Accounts Payable Business Partner will own and manage relations between the CRFC AP department and a portion of the manufacturing plants the Center provides service to, performing as a liaison between both organizations. The core responsibilities include the management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of high-end issues within the AP service to the plant, handling of continuous improvement solutions that consider the plant's specific needs, and insurance of a steady flow of actions as required from both sides to ensure compliant payment on time. The role reports to the Manager, GQO AP BP and relies on strong collaboration with various stakeholders at the division and the center for appropriate design, execution, and effectiveness measurement.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and peers to ensure the implementation of joint CRFC and site aligned strategies to ensure a high-quality AP operation.
- Act as strategic partner for the plant's Finance team, the Global Procurement Center, and the Accounts Payable Team and function as a collaborating point of contact that can be taken as trustworthy for all parties.
- Establish continuous contact with the assigned plants, including on-site travel, to build a strong connection with the local departments and develop a strong acumen for the assigned site's ERPs, business models and specific day-to-day requirements and exceptions they may require.
- Serve as SPOC for the plant's LT over high-level issues related to AP operations and own the solution process.
- Generate results based on strong influence over plant, Global Procurement Centers and AP members, enabling a synergetic environment that provides the best possible outcomes for the company as a whole.
- Design, review, implement and communicate specific metrics and follow up strategies for the plant's ongoing issues.
- Provide solid and substantial results within the assigned plant's AP operation to improve the site's perception of the CRFC services.
- Project management and business reengineering initiatives. Ability to manage projects that will significantly impact the business up-to and including working with senior leadership on major company projects.
**Education & Special Trainings**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or business related education.
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement methodology (preferred).
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Language: Bilingual English is required.
- 6 - 8 years of experience in Accounts Payable Operations, including previous supervision roles.
- Prior project management experience.
- SOX Controls knowledge and focus on compliance topics.
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
