Ecolab is seeking a **Associate Logistics Manager** to** **lead a team to effectively direct and coordinate imports and exports operations around the globe with the principals pillars of Service, Cost and Compliance. You will need to have strong customer focus, hands-on leadership style and a collaborative approach to working with other supply chain functions. Also, you must demonstrate strong leadership, be driven by initiative rather than crisis, and be eager to identify, recommend and complete projects.

**What You Will Do**:
- Actively participate in EBS (a more advanced version of SAP) operations
- Deployer of the system in Latin America
- Train people
- Lead the lead users
- Lead testing
- Preparation of manuals
- 25% of the time will be spent traveling mainly to Brazil, Argentina and the Caribbean - for the next 2 years.
- When EBS operations are completed, can move to iTrade.
**Position Details**:
- Work week and shift: Administrative schedule, working twice a week from the office located in the BES Free Trade Zone in El Coyol, Alajuela.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related field
- Be an expert in the Operational area of International Trade (technical experience)
- Experience working in Systems Implementation, Nexus - ideal
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Access to design and execute complex queries and reporting
- Fluent in English
Leadership profile
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective at building relationships and utilizing problem solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus amongst stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Proficiency in SAP, specifically Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules
- Previous project management experience, including Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification
