Role/Responsibilities
**Functional Responsibilities**
- Responsible for preparing monthly reports, variance analysis and commentaries that will help identify key focus areas for management
- Assist in inputting forecast and budget projections and adjustments into Moody's financial reporting system
- Assist in preparing annual budget builds and quarterly forecasts
- Work with the in-house accounting team and AP team to ensure integrity and relevance of management reporting
- Perform system reconciliations and adjustments to guarantee correct reporting
- Prepare relevant ad-hoc analysis in support of the financial planning and analysis processes
- Work with business intelligence tools to deliver timely and accurate reporting and dashboards to key business stakeholders
- Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management
- Interact with Business and Corporate Planning colleagues, Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, HR, Tax and business line representatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline or progress toward equivalent accountancy qualification
- 1+ years experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) - reporting and modeling or in a finance environment
- **Key Competencies**:
- Proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exposure to Power BI or similar business analytical tools preferred but not required
- Attention to details with capacity to understand the bigger picture
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with sometime competing priorities.
