ROLE SUMMARY
The Digital Hosting Solutions (DHS) team represents the Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) for cloud infrastructure capabilities, providing foundational public and private cloud services to all business lines, globally across Pfizer. DHS is a high-performing team, focused on delivering secure, scalable, compliant, operationally viable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Pfizer Engineers must operate with the highest levels of integrity, as colleagues within DHS are often entrusted with the highest levels of access to development and production environments. The ability to protect confidential information, identify risks, mitigate non-compliance, and operate within defined policies & procedures is a must.
- Help manage and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in the implementation of cloud solutions, including migration of existing services to the cloud.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the cloud environment.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for cloud processes, systems, and procedures.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies and best practices.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for cloud-based systems.
- Work closely with other team members to understand and implement functional requirements and updates.
- Support the team in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in the cloud environment.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging trends and developments in cloud technologies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certifications in cloud technologies from providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including the deployment and management of cloud resources using IaC.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in a regulated industry, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements related to cloud computing.

Respond on short notice during normal working hours. Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may occasionally be required during critical events.
