Provide advice, guidance, analysis, and reporting of financial information.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and process month-end journal entries; prepare balance sheet account reconciliations; gathering data and generating reports in support of trend analysis as well as providing complex administrative support including processing reimbursement invoices
- Research variance details to identify anomalies and key drivers, and provide explanations
- Assist in analyzing weekly and monthly trends (e.g., expense, fringes)
- Prepare monthly tax declarations (e.g. VAT) and intrastat reporting
- Gather information to be used in presentations for management
**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, 1 year of previous experience minimum required
**Other**: Experience working in an international company preferred
**Additional Skills**:
- Good computer skills in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and ability to operate general office machinery
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to accounting
- Good understanding of international accounting principles (e.g., U.S GAAP, IFRS), local GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Good knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
