**ROLE SUMMARY**

- Responsible for preparing and consolidated pension and postretirement accounting journal entries and analyses.

**Reports to**
Senior Finance Manager
**Core Relationships**
**Internal - **DBS - collaborate closely with other GBS's (Asia, Romania) to provide an excellent service to the end market (USA Mainly).
**External End market - **Request initiator.
Internal and External Auditors - On audit work.
**Geographic Scope**
Americas
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls.
Assist in controls testing to align with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
- Partner with other corporate functions, such as Tax, Treasury, HR and LEX.
Assist with special projects as needed.
- Prepare financial documentation and statements for employee benefit plan audits.
- Create Process Documentation and review and keep updated existing documentation.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Communicate with team members by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customer focused culture.
**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**
**ESSENTIAL**
**Experience Required**
- 5+ years' experience in a multinational company.
- Knowledge of statutory and management accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
- Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory, Management and other relevant reporting.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to work with various levels of employees and leaders (up to and including executives).
- Must have consistent track record to work in fast paced environment.
- US Payroll and/or Benefits/Pension Accounting experience preferred.
**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Good knowledge of SAP preferred
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- BPC acknowledge **is very desirable**:
- Strong customer focus.
**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- University degree (Accounting, Economic of Finance).
- Bilingual (Spanish and English level 95%+)
- CPA designation preferred.

- Experience in the Shared Services environment and Business Partnering.
- US GAAP/US Corporate/Commercial Finance & Accounting experience.
