Huntsman is seeking an Assistant Buyer Indirects Procurement Operations supporting the GBS located in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Indirect Procurement Team Lead.
As the Assistant Buyer Indirects Procurement Operations you will:
- Monitor procurement systems by reviewing points of integration, resolving errors, placing purchase orders, and processing invoice disputes in a compliant manner for multiple purchasing areas.
- Manage and maintain all levels of purchasing data including pricing and order profiles, supplier data, and orders placed according to strategic sourcing expectations.
- Collaborate with the commercial purchasing and key stakeholders by being the daily operational contact between purchasing and several manufacturing sites or administrative departments.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to drive automation, streamline processes, and create efficiencies based on strategic optimization and the procurement strategy and in consultation with the business. Provide and share status updates to internal stakeholders on purchased goods and services, within standards of information management.
- Ensure, follow-up and control the compliance of processes and organizational policies regarding environment, health, and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related.
- Understanding of the purchasing process.
- Capable of working with Microsoft Office package.
- B2 English required.
