**Role Responsibilities**:
- Act as an innovator, disruptor, and executioner in informing and driving all aspects of our technical strategy.
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
- Make appropriate product and business trade-offs and give technology direction that leads to measurable product and business outcomes.
- Strong emphasis on the customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
- Define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process.
- Thorough code reviews.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.
**Role Requirements**:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related fields with 5+ years of related professional experience.
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Demonstrated experience in C/C++ (General Knowledge), Powershell scripting (for Tanium tasks), and SQL.
- Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance with emerging technology standards.
- Able to operate at highly varying levels of abstraction from business strategy to product strategy to high-level technical design to detailed technical design to implementation.
- Hands-on experience in building a microservices-based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.
- Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment, adapt to changing business priorities, and thrive under pressure.
- Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
