Job Description We are looking for an Application Packaging Specialist to join our IT team.
The candidate will be responsible for packaging, deploying, and maintaining applications using SCCM, Intune, and Patch My PC.
We are looking for a deep understanding of application lifecycle management, software distribution, and patch management.
You will report to the Desktop Operations Manager Responsibilities: Application Packaging: Create, test, and deploy application packages using SCCM and Intune.
Patch Management: Utilize Patch My PC to automate third-party application updates and ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Software Deployment: Manage the end-to-end software deployment process, including release, distribution, and troubleshooting.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all applications and patches comply with security policies and standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of application packaging processes, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, and end-users to gather requirements and ensure successful application deployments.
Support: You will provide technical support for application packaging and deployment issues.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in application packaging and deployment using SCCM and Intune.
Proficiency in SCCM and Intune for application packaging and deployment.
Experience with Patch My PC for third-party patch management.
Experience with Windows operating systems and software installation processes.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Beneficial qualifications Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
Knowledge of software distribution and patch management best practices.
Certifications in SCCM, Intune, or related technologies.
Additional Information This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica.
