The Video Editor and Production Specialist will be part of the Client Training and Education team and will be responsible for the production and delivery of high-quality educational content on the various TradeStation platforms for all levels of clients.
The position involves creating basic graphic designs, story boarding videos, create animated videos and professional video editing.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
- Edit videos of product demos and step by step help documentation
- Create explainer videos and educational content
- Create and deliver high quality professional live and animated videos
- Work with the team to create innovative learning plans and courses curriculum
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g.
Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, compositing and Chroma key
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Character Design and Rigging
- Knowledge of Sound Design
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
- 2-4 years in motion design and video editing
- Experience with editing software, specifically with Adobe Creative Suite
