**Job Description**:
**Role Description**
Reporting to the AMTH Analytics and Automation Senior Manager, the Analytics Lead will support the development and operation of analytics and automation to support the execution of access management testing, with the potential to expand into other areas of data security testing.
The Analytics Lead will understand, extract, and transform data from a variety of different systems before coding data analytics tests and developing continuous monitoring based on these tests.
This will include creating visualizations of the analytics to produce impactful representations of the insight obtained by Data Analytics and developing reporting capabilities on coverage and results of monitoring and testing.
The Analytics and automation Lead will also support the maintenance and development of the Data Analytics AWS Platform and Knowledge Base and any future technologies acquired to support the Access Management Testing Hub.
**Major Job Functions**:
- Support the Analytics and Automation Senior Manager in the identification and prioritization of analytics and continuous monitoring to develop the testing hub backlog.
- Manage the continuity and completeness of data feeds into the access management testing hub including managing relationships with data owners, addressing security requirements and identifying and building new data feeds to enable the delivery of the backlog.
- Build testing scripts and data analytics queries to support the delivery of the testing backlog and implement appropriate automation to enable continuous monitoring.
- Development of data visualization solutions / dashboards to communicate and report results of testing and the coverage of the data analytics testing hub.
- Support the development of integrated reporting of access management testing incorporating analytics, continuous monitoring and manual testing.
- Support the management of the AWS analytics environment and other supporting technologies.
- Monitoring emerging analytics and automation capabilities and identity opportunities to enhance access management testing by leveraging these capabilities.
- Manage and prioritise workloads for the data analytics team and assist in the mentoring an development of Data Analysts
**Qualifications**:
**Required Experience**:
- Degree with high technical content preferred
- 7 years' experience in data analytics development and delivery.
**Essential Abilities**:
- Extensive proven experience with at least one data analytics tool (e.g.
Alteryx, SAS, Python)
- Proven experience with at least one BI / visualization tool (e.g.
Tableau, Power BI)
- Extensive proven experience of managing and delivering high quality data analytics
- Experience of relational databases (e.g.
SQL)
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Leadership experience is highly valued
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Problem solver who proposes innovative solutions
- Collaborative and consultative in approach with colleagues
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise workloads of multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, large data sets and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Awareness of current trends in Data Science
