Role ProfileThis role is responsible for supporting the management and reporting of the Non-Financial Risks related to the Operations Division across the Group, with direct focus on Americas. The role requires close liaison with the business, to ensure the risk management framework is fully embedded and operational. It requires working with other members of Group Risk to ensure that risk assessments are completed, and the risk profile is understood and communicated to Senior Management.The team is largely based in London but will be aligned to Operations Centre of Excellence for the target operating model (Bangalore, Gdynia and Heredia) to support the oversight and risk management activities conducted in the geographical region. This role will primarily focus on activity conducted in AMER but will be required to support other regions as required (eg investigations and deep dives).Key Responsibilities- Supports ongoing monitoring and analysis of risk, identifying areas of risk exposures and escalating changes as appropriate- Analyses and interprets data to draft regular reports for stakeholders, identifying risks outside appetite- Partner with Risk Champions and Business Control Officers within Group Operations to identify their risks through top risk profiling workshops and through bottom-up Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs)- Completes routine risk reporting and production of management information to support decision making- Adheres to applicable risk control frameworks, policies and procedures in scope of own role- Ensures internal databases and systems are kept up to date- Supports the team to deliver risk projects and activities- Support the preparation of the consolidated risk profile of the business divisions for presentation to senior management, relevant entity boards and risk committees.- Develop strong risk culture and promote awareness of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.- Some relevant experience (incl. internship/graduate scheme) preferred- Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.- Puts project management methodologies in place e.g. schedules of work; progress reports- Ability to build and foster strong relationships at all levels and excellent stakeholder managementAt LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
