The Finance Transformation, Data and Systems team enables the Finance department with the accessibility of data, technology and analytic / BI solutions.
We accelerate Finance Transformation by enabling a data-driven and digital culture.
Role/Responsibilities
The Analyst - BI&A Operations supports the maintenance and operational excellence of sophisticated Business Intelligence and data solutions, primarily for business partners, working alongside other analysts to ensure smooth operational delivery.
**FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the processes and maintenance of solutions built by the BI&A delivery team.
- Support requests for maintenance & improvements in the context of BI delivery
- Work closely with Operations manager to ensure effective handover of BI solutions
- Support troubleshooting for defects and communicate resolutions
- Supervise operational critical metrics (Scheduled refreshes, Usage stats) via admin API's
**SCOPE / SUPERVISION AND INTERACTION**
- Makes decisions appropriate for level of responsibility, raises concerns to the appropriate level of management and keeps management updated of activities
- Relies on management for decision making
**Qualifications**:
- 1+ years of experience in working with BI solutions
- Experience in understanding BI delivery components (ETL, Star Schema's, metrics via DAX)
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or other quantitative/technology field
- Some proficiency in Power BI or other BI tools and its end-to-end solution, including integration with other database reporting tools, data sources, and data visualization
- Some knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and experience in scripting languages (e.g.
R, Python) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving and creative skills
- Exercise good judgment and make timely supportable decisions

- Summarize and communicate findings/analysis and work with large amounts of data
- Ability to work with members of other teams across the organization and collect their requirements to meet their needs
