The Allocation Management Specialist is responsible to drive Asia Pacific carrier allocation strategy in accordance with corporate targets and carrier commitments.In close cooperation with the local teams in Asia Pacific includes Regional FCL Trade Managers, he/she manages global and regional businesses to ensure key performance indicators, namely volume performance is met.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Driving and monitoring specific accounts performance commitments to achieve overall KPI targetsManaging the ocean business administration to increase approved carrier space allotment in close cooperation with the Regional FCL Trade ManagersContinuous review of market rates situation, yield return of the different carrier agreements(e.g.
NACs, SPOT market) and space allocation to deliver optimal visibility and consistent quality of service to the internal and external customerPreparation of the capacity visibility for specific key customer (upcoming volumes) and ensure the allocations required are coveredLiaise short-term capacity planning with Area Trade-lane Managers in order to stimulate sales of respective cargo flows to achieve lower "net achieved costs" or to react on market conditions/requirementsPrepare and conduct Monthly or Quarterly Business Review with the Approved carriers, set allocation performance KPI framework to be considered in the Area for specific SLAs with carriersAdditional tasks as assigned by Supervisor or ManagerSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not supervise any direct reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School DiplomaAt least one year of related experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English and SpanishExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of the freight forwarding industryProficient with Microsoft OfficeKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESSelf-confident, creative, innovativeCan work at all levels of the organization Can make something complex easy to understand Can move from strategic to detailed focus easily Willing to help; looks for solutions; coaches others in finding their own solutionsValues each person no matter their position, empatheticTeam oriented.
