The AI Operations Team is the foundation of the Microsoft teams responsible for driving machine learning and AI technology across various domains and scenarios. As an AI Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage Microsoft's cloud and AI platforms, such as Azure, Cognitive Services, and Power Platform. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other experts and stakeholders across Microsoft and beyond, such as researchers, engineers, and product managers.
The AI Operations Manager role offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, spanning organizations and products, to craft and execute innovative programs and projects. As you learn to track success criteria and metrics, you'll collaborate closely with project leads to strategize landing project, creating communication plans, fostering global alignment and ensuring project requirements are met across teams and centers. Leveraging data and metrics, you'll showcase the value of projects, adapting communication strategies to diverse audiences while upholding ethical standards and data privacy policies. With a focus on maintaining data integrity and security, you'll demonstrate personal ownership and adherence to procedures, contributing to the forward momentum of Microsoft's mission.

- Leads teams to collect and evaluate success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)), such as usage, impact, effectiveness, and customer feedback to use scorecards and dashboards to monitor programs and ensure all activities align with business and program objectives, and to report up to leadership and create leadership visibility. Helps teams use data analytics (e.g., scenario analyses) to derive insights and training that help identify current and/or future program risks and mitigation plans, as well as opportunities to streamline and optimize programs based on lessons learned that impact the broader unit.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.
- Experience analyzing data and metrics to track progress and create efficiencies
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, process improvement
- OR Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years program management experience, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience.
