As an AI Engineer, you will be working on solutions that incorporate internal ML / NLP models, foundational and LLM models, and semantic search that expand our AI footprint on the Datasite Platform.This is a hybrid role in Heredia, Costa Rica. Expectation is occasional (currently 1x a week) in office work with flex scheduling and split-time available to avoid traffic. Datasite is willing to be flexible with employees to find the best solution for collaboration and work-life balance.Main Responsibilities:Develop prompt templates, orchestration chains, and agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP techniques.-- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers to develop AI-enabled products and features.-- Ensure the delivery of high-quality technical work by writing clean code and implementing sufficient tests.-- Architect and design scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing Python-- Work closely with technical leadership to plan and prioritize software development projects.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, computer science- 3+ years experience building services in Python (or similar object-oriented programming languages) and working with projects that follow the Software Development Lifecycle- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.- Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or similar.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication and collaboration.- Passion for Agile methodology with the flexibility to think outside the scrum.
