We have an exciting opportunity in our international farm based in Costa Rica accountable for overseeing the farms daily operations and managing the business aspects of the company.
Key accountabilities & responsibilities: Responsible for delivering and driving the commercial and sales strategy across Europe, US and local market.
Accountable for the review of accurate and timely management accounts and financial information including weekly, monthly financial reporting and forecasting.
Monitoring compliance with internal controls.
Overall management responsibility for the Farm Team and machinery.
Implement the farms strategy and set goals for growth.
Accountability for driving productivity and efficiency improvement across the farm improving financial and operational performance delivering profitability of the farm. Ad hoc reporting and presentations to be completed on a regular basis and provide presentations for Directors and Board on the farm's performance.
Ensuring objectives, KPIs, performance management and development are consistently delivered for the Team in each department.
Accountability for ensuring all colleagues follow health and safety regulations and safe working practices aligned with Keelings standards. Key skills and knowledge required Proven experience as a Director or similar executive role working within the agriculture industry managing a team.
Proven commercial and financial decision making Strong background and understand in machinery maintenance Experience in financial planning and budgeting Strong analytical ability Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Excellent Communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concise at all levels of the Company.
Excellent people skills and ability to work with people with different approaches Fluent Spanish and English (essential).
Portuguese and French (desirable) Proven ability to lead, manage and develop people as well as working well with diverse Teams in different time zones Interviews will be conducted in English language.
The role requires flexibility in working hours with travel to France, The Netherlands, Ireland and the UK.
