The **Accounts Payable Payment Analyst** is responsible for ensuring in a correct and timely manner the preparation of payments following the instruction per country.
Guarantee bank reconciliations against the transfers.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Processing payments daily, ensuring all invoices and expenses are paid according to agreed terms.
Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records.
Ensuring that all manual wires have the support documentation before processing them and that the information at the bank system matches the backup.
- Perform advanced level review of the payment requests to moderate the risk of irregular payments.
Identify risks and gaps to improve the process.
Maintains compliance documentation covering all in-scope AP Controls.
Organized problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- Effective working relationships with both internal departments and vendors and understanding the urgency and impact on both vendors and the corporation.
- Interact with auditors, accountants, and management as needed to provide information about the department and specific AP requests.
**Key requirements**:
- Technical High School degree in Accounting or an advanced Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced English level (spoken and written).
- At least 1-year experience in the Accounts Payable cycle, including the Payment Process
- SAP/Oracle experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality in data entry.
- Good customer service & communication oriented.
- Take personal accountability for decisions and actions.
