Your Role
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for weekly processing of accounts payable and employee expense reports, and monthly preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Additional focus is required on tax and country-specific requirements. This role also requires the preparation and analysis of monthly cost reports.
What You Will Do
- Accurately code, review, and enter invoices in Coupa for designated Payables.
- Review expense reports for accuracy (including tax) and compliance with Gensler policies.
- Run weekly cash requirements report and compile all approved invoices and expense reports for LATAM offices.
- Set up new vendor accounts and profiles.
- Review and process cash advances and reconcile employee ledger.
- Periodic review of all open payables.
- Reconcile P-Card accounts and compile backup.
- Prepare monthly departmental cost reports.
- Coordinate monthly cost review meetings with each cost group.
- Miscellaneous projects as requested.
Your Qualifications
- Current Student of accounting, business administration degree or related field.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Able to work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Cost-conscious, and able to scrutinize overhead charges and expense reports, alerting when appropriate.
- Able to respond to vendors, consultants, and staff promptly and professionally.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Highly organized, and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
