Knowledge of financial controls and procedures
Corporate Accounts Payable (Corp AP) L4 Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays an important role in the organization, by reviewing and resolving complex invoices and ticket inquiries for LATAM (Latin America) region, with highest level of controllership.
The SME partners up and/or benchmark with members of Corporate Accounts Payable team and teams in other regions to determine if current processes within LATAM FinCon Communication Team are aligned on highest standards in terms of SLA and quality.
The SME invents and simplifies for the team, seeks for opportunities to reduce sub-optimal processes and to implement scalable solutions with the highest controllership standards.
The SME dives deep into the defects to find the root causes, provides information on the root causes and partners up with Business Analysts, Vendor Managers, PO Requestors and important stakeholders to propose clear action plans and resolution.
The SME also delivers results on ad-hoc requests such as creations of reports, dive deeps on specific situations, backup team members on multiple processes, Functional metrics analysis and improvements, special projects, and prepares recommendations before a decision is made.
Key job responsibilities
- The L4 SME is responsible for manage tight deadlines with precision, to guarantee the on-time payment for LATAM Countries.
- The SME is in charge of monitor, analyze, and optimize the troubleshooting of invoices, striving to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- The SME is responsible to handle and resolve complex escalations from internal and external stakeholders, with the highest level of customer obsession and controllership.
- The SME will constantly seeks
opportunities to improve operational metrics, ensuring the highest level of customer obsession and
controllership within the team. The metrics include but no limited to: Negative Response Rate(NRR) which is an OP2 goal with a target of 10%, Invoice Adoption with a target of 54% and Trouble Tickets with a target of 100% of TT's resolved in less than 30 days.
- The SME will coordinate and perform weekly, monthly or quarterly deliverables including MBR and GRCs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- The SME is the go-to person for the team as it is constantly learning new ways to do things and shares best practices that improve the customer experience for the internal and external clients.
