**Job Description**:
- Your RoleThe Accounting Assistant is responsible for is responsible for maintaining office accounting files and monthly preparation of reimbursable back-up.
- What You Will Do- Filing and organization of all accounting files
- Prepare monthly reimbursable billing back-up
- Download weekly digital files for Accounts Payable and Expense Reports
- Assist with back-up for internal and external audits
- Set-up new vendor accounts and profiles
- Miscellaneous projects as requested
Your Qualifications- Studies in accounting, business administration degree or related field
- At least 1 year of accounting related experience
- Proficient in data entry with strong excel skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Pro-active and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines
- Well written with excellent verbal communication skills
- Cost-conscious, and able to scrutinize overhead charges, alerting department leaders when appropriate
